We had to stop at Isle Tabarca due to the wind being on the nose and a
very lumpy sea running, hence lots of crashing and slow progress. The
bonus was being able to swim for an hour in crystal clear water which was
warm!
We departed I Tabarca at 2000 hrs that evening as the wind was dropping
and headed for Torreviega for the night. It took about three hours but on
a moon light night and balmy temperatures who cares.
Let Torreviega at first light to head for Cabo de Palos '37:37.5N
0:42.00W'. The South East corner of Spain, so an important turning point
on our trip. Then to Cartagena.
Cartagena is a lovely city with history back to Hannibal, with a huge Roman
amphitheatre which is used for concerts today. The cty is still very
military with a Naval dockyard and a dropping in place for various Navies
for R and R. Catching up with Friends and family here
