Great first half of the trip across Bass Strait and then around midnight a short SW’ly came in and made the trip unpleasant. Both girls performed admirably and are now fully fledged roaring 40 babes.

We stopped near Babel Is. to catch our breath and check all bits were still attached then came on to Flinders Is port, Lady Barren, where we are now tied up to the dock.

The landscape is very like Western Ireland, rocks and more rocks and then a few trees and long white sand beaches. Dramatic and harsh, but beautiful.
