42:46.56N 09:03.34W Wednesday - the setting is beautiful but the marina itself is the most expensive we’ve been in and has sparse to non-existent facilities as well as an uncomfortable surge on our berth.  Still, Baiona is where Columbus’ expedition arrived to bring news of discovering the New World so we enjoy a walk and admire the replica of the Pinta as well as wandering around the castle and through the old town with its collonaded streets.  Then, on Thursday, it’s time to move on again so we put up with a grey, wet, lumpy trip to move another 45 miles up to Muros.  It’s not only the weather that’s becoming more like the UK – we’re now seeing gannets and shearwaters on a regular basis so we must be moving in the right direction.
