Normal (?) life in Marina Bay

I can’t believe how varied life is here day by day.  Last week we rescued a young black Labrador that decided to walk the plank without first checking it was touching the pontoon.  Luckily it was during the day but it still took four of us to get him back on board.  On Sunday we had to pull ourselves away from the pontoon in the face of a westerly storm (65 mph gusts according to the boat opposite).  The motion was horrible and we both spent much of the day lying down with eyes shut.  Today it’s sunny and warm so there’s the chance to stand and watch the dredger that’s been working all hours to get a channel clear for a large ‘hotel ship’ that’s arriving on Friday – never a dull moment!  In between times we now have a small but perfectly usable and tidy heads (bathroom to you and me) and I thought you’d like to see how stressful it is being the skipper on board Mira.
