We’ve enjoyed one of the driest winters on record in Gibraltar but now when we’re getting ready to go, guess what!  Still, it proves Mira is watertight as we lie in bed and listen to the rain drumming on the hatches.  Apparently the next week is going to be wet so it’s just as well our sails are away being checked and repaired.  We’ve plenty else to think about as we start planning our project in earnest – England suddenly seems a long way away when you’re passage planning at 5 knots!
