Remember the film "Groundhog Day", where the main character keeps waking up to have the same day over and over again?? Well, welcome to our world. We are sitting on the world's largest high pressure area, which seems to cover the entire Southern Ocean. Of all the problems which I worried about for this ocean, a lack of wind was not one of those worries. Yet here we are, we get all excited when we make 5 knots. How very sad.
We're all a bit down in the dumps about it and seriously hope the situation will improve tomorrow. Crew Morale is pretty low.
Til then, still can't seem to receive emails, but seem to be able to send off the boat ok.
hope the situation will improve as we move further east...
