DAY 10 AFRICAN ESCAPE

Sounds like some sort of exotic holiday in the sun, ney we have managed to escape the clutches of the currents around the bottom of Africa and now are in the east going current going around the bottom of the world.
What this means me hearties is that our speed over he ground (SOG)has now jumped to 9 knts plus, should of brought the water skis !
We have a SSE wind so we are close hauled on a course of going East towards Oz.

We had pan fried bonito (tuna) courtesy of Tmoby plus a delish cheesy mash ala meercat.
Santa was kind enough to give me an xmas pudding which I will try today (no one else likes it)
Stirling was experimenting with pressure cooker bread which I thought was great, she was not impressed so far; maybe chef brother Jim can pass on culinary tips ??

Weather forecast looks good for some good westerly winds further south at 42 degrees south, we may pop down and check them out however we are trucking east on the 38th parallel at 9knt at present.

The sun came up at 0400 am today according to Ship Time (Z +2) we must start changing Ship time or we will end up as jet lagged sailors.

Time for hammy check in.
Mikey
