Evenin' wee limpets,

Today's excitement began with the main up with two reefs in and the yankee. After 6, we shook the reefs out. Currently going at 6 knots, very good. For lunch Mater (aka Sterling) and I roasted some tatties and made a tuna mayo dip. We had some Mojo Rojo picante (spicy in Portuguese/Spanish) to dip our tatties in. We knew the meal was good by the arguing of who had the last tattie and eventually by Toby who was unable to resist the urge to lick his plate. Lovely.

Before we began our little adventure, Toby and I had downloaded a few episodes of "Hamish and Andy" The podcasts are very enjoyable, making you laugh hysterically, when Mom or Dad is napping. One current episode, Ham and Ando invited Glen Robbins on the show, and made a song for him. This little jingle is exceedingly catchy and Toby and I both pay tribute by singing the little jingle with vigorous enthusiasm. Mother, however has an eye twitch every time we sing it-haha :P

Currently, numerous musical numbers are popping around the boat. This morning I apparently missed an "epic" show of Dad doing "pretty woman" with his earphones on, I wonder if any of the jars of pineapple marmalade (don't ask, Mom thought "ananas" meant orange) broke due to the rare notes he struck. (Ed, "rare" doesn't necessarily mean good.)

I, on the other hand have been serenading the family with Queen, Buddy Holly and rather edited version of a song which probably originated from a nursery rhyme. It goes something like this - *clears throat* "She had bells on her fingers and rings on her toes, does anyone know where my gypsy goes ?/*slip into cornish accent* Where the winds are fierce, and storm is a brewin' etc..."

The other night in fact, Julie's tune of "Doh Ray Mee Fah Soh Lah Tee Doh" was played out in the main saloon. I believe Dad started and Toby carried on. To everyone's amusement, Toby sung out "Ray..A chocolate Golden Sun.." instead of the usual "Ray..A drop of golden sun". This made us all laugh profusively, although Toby didn't laugh until 5 minutes later when we told him he had the wrong lyrics. (took this long til we could talk without laughing).

Anyway limpits, we are about 490 miles out and counting down the miles,
AMOK OUT.
