Day 28 Cape Town to Fremantle

We have had the most amazing day. We stopped at the Island of Saint Paul and were greeted by a French Fishing Vessel called Austral. They gave us a mountain of food, consisting of spiny lobsters, fresh baguettes & croissants, ice cream, fresh fruit and vegetables, Scotch Whiskey and a massive saucisson. The generosity of strangers will never cease to amaze me. Random acts of kindness are so very inspirational and in turn, tend to generate follow on random acts of kindness.

We believe we may have picked up contaminated diesel which resulted in our engine not starting just as we were due to depart Saint Paul.

Austral's 1st and 2nd engineer and Captain spent several hours sorting it out for us, for which we are extremely grateful.

that's all for now lubbers, sorry so short...
