DAY 9 CIRCLES AND BUMPS

What a day, boxing day shant forget that one for a while.
No wind, sorry, cyclonic, more like clostemic to me.
A few technical problems in the engine room permitted me temporary release from the paint locker and resulted in us circling our position for most of the day.
Engine room problem solved by Tmoby with slim arms and large mallet dully assisted by meercat giving sagely advice whilst knitting the 43 rd hat.
Water pressure system threw up in the bilge for no reason, it wasnt even rough. This resulted in a midnight double by pass under cover of dark ( my best work done under the cover of darkness) of the galley footpump which blew an o ring. Said pump is now regulated to coffee table orniment or recycleed environmental sculpter depending on your leaning or how you tie your shoe laces.

Whilst all this pandamonium was going on the blues produced an outstanding lunch of cold meats, pickles and jacket spuds with cheese and red oninion. This was followed at dinner with thai prawn curry with scented rice.
The scented rice was due to Tmoby having caught a massive Bonito decided to gut it in the sink as I was straining the rice. I guess you could say it was sushi rice.

Anyway all tech problems sorted with the help of great support of Graham and Sam on the South African Marine Mobile Net (Ham radio net).

Yes the cod beer was good !

We had a great xmas day with a superb duck produced by the pinks, the blues just lounged. I had some great presis from under xmas tree including a water proof case for my prized Nikon (bit ominous), a Famenca CD so I can rumba around the boat on dark night watches and some anatomical life threating chilli sauces ( gosh was even called hot ass hell)

Must go now and talk with my hammy friends
VK6MOK over and out
