HO HO HO and a bottle of RUM !!

Ahoy tharr'''' meee 'andsomes !!

Today began with a steady and calm sea, paired with 7 to 8 knots of wind. At the present moment we have our main up and are motor sailing.

For lunch Momma and I made potato gnocci. We boiled some potatoes, mashed them and added the butter, eggs and flour. Unfortunately the dough was too "droopy" to roll out but never the less, we had potato gnocci and spicy chillie pasta sauce. It was egg-celent. Har har har ( crappy pun I know.)

Father Miguel(Dad) has been scrubbin' away at all the silver (read stainless steel, Ed.) on board for most of the day. Toby has been prancing around playing with his fishing rod, but took a break prior to lunchtime and lay down on deck overtop of the galley(kitchen) hatch to grab the peeper grinder from the ceiling net and grind pepper into the salad Momma was holding. She wondered why there were unidentified particles falling from the hatch into the salad only to be met by her reckless son.

I, on the other hand was a little factory line - making rope mats, monkeys fists, turks heads and other frivolous nautical themed matters. (using up all of Mike's expensive rope, Ed.)

In the afternoon, Toby and myself attempted a lovely game of snap - which did not turn out to be so lovely after all. An argument made it's way after a disagreement over either the verbal "SNAP" or the more violent *slaps hand down on cards*. Man over board was dangerously being thought out, so I decided to propose a game of "Happy Families" ironic it may be but was played with bouts of fun with Father Miguel(Dad).

Apparently frozen broccoli is featuring on the dinner menu tonight -__- bleh, so please excuse me whilst I jump over the railings, swim to the depths and grab some seaweed to toast.

EPIC EPIC EPIC NEWS !!!!::::::::::: NEWS BREAK !!: This evening whilst finishing a family dinner in the cockpit, Toby looked behind us and stated "S%#@" We all turned our heads to what had caught his attention and we saw what appeared to be a ball. "A volleyball ?" "A buoy" "a Bowl?" and then Mother stated "It's WILSON ".

All three of us began to pester Dad if we could turn around for it, and he did. Dad took charge of the wheel, I watched for it, not too sure what Mom did - wait - made sure no-one went overboard. Alas, Toby caught it with his net, and we found it was a very bleached yellow buoy. It had a little bit of rope on it and a lot of mollusks, crabs, etc.. VERY VERY EXCITING !!!

Anyhoo we proceeded to take a picture of the fam. and the sunset. Failed to get both in the same picture but managed to take one of where Mom's face just made me cackle with laughter. Her face read "Oh ? Picture? Right yeah?" and what was worse was that she took the picture. :)

post script note by Ed: We realised that we can't call this ball Wilson, as we know that's not possible, so we've decided to call him Wilson Jnr. We shared our leftovers with Wilson Jr, though despite all the time at sea, he didn't seem to eat much....

take care me hearties,
AMOK out.
