Tales of Amok's Adventures

Greetings young barnacles,

Well, it's all good onboard AMOK just now, we are ploughing along on this moon-less night at around 5 1/2 knots with all the sails up. There are no clouds in the sky and there are a million stars to see. One particular set of stars which we have been watching for some time now is very obvious in the sky, I can't wait to return to Perth to investigate the name.

We have all been catching up on our sleep today, it's surprising how the night watches zap you of your energy during the day and how important it is to catch up. We've also been racking our brains on what to do with the remaining 480 bananas which we have ripening on the counter. I am sure these things are multiplying every time I turn my back. We made Banana loaf to day and we were disappointed that the recipe only called for 3 or 4. More like 30 or 40 would have been good.

hope the Northerners are staying warm and the Southerners are staying cool. Recently heard that a 77 day dry spell in Perth ended recently with a minute amount of rain fall.

short and sweet today my mermaids,
take care Salty Sal
