Just watched the Golden Compass with a couple of
beers and sweet and sour chicken. Luxuries which will be disappearing as of
tomorrow. Back out to sea for an estimated 11 days or so (1250 miles) to
Teignmouth. The weather looks alright if a little tricksy, which will do just
fine for my biggest, toughest leg sailing solo...what an adventure!
Have had a grand time in the marina here at Praia
da Vitoria in Terceira - it's really cheap, sunny, sandy and friendly,
especially with some stragglers from last month's Jester Challenge still here
making for excellent eccentric singlehander comany.
two bags of onions, one bag green tomatoes, six
loaves bread, and tins, jars, and more tins. (and some apples to ward off
scurvy)
updates to follow...
