We left Clifton on Union Island at 08.00 and
settled down to a long beat North back past Bequia. The wind was fresh but the
sun shone and the odd spray was refreshing. We sailed in company with 'Shian'
who had spent another night in Tobago Cays and mid afternoon we reached
Kearton's Bay on the east side of St. Vincent immediately south of Wallilabou
where some of the ' Pirates of the Caribbean' was filmed.

The crew got a lift round to the set from Julian in
a very small traditional dinghy and in the evening we were collected by dinghy
and went to the Rock Side Cafe for a very pleasant dinner which even had
personalised menus!
Friday was another glorious sail on the wind across
the channel to St. Lucia where we moored at the new marina in Marigot
Bay www.themarinavillage.com.

A Tough
Life!!
This is a landlocked 'hurricane hole' and the
marina clients can use the hotel facilities so after checking into Customs and
Immigration it was off to the pool and their ' wet bar '!
