Beautiful morning in Oyster Haven! Really not
enough room for anchoring among the moorings due to the tide but luckily there
are only half a dozen boats on about 60 moorings.
Some beautiful houses large and small around the
anchorage; if the W arm of Oysterhaven was deeper it would be a perfect
anchorage. Up anchor and a gentle sail to Kinsale in bright
sunshine.
entrance to
Kinsale
Filled diesel tank at Castlepark Marina @ 82
cents a litre as opposed to 1.02 at Howth; however the berthing rate is 5.50
euros a metre. There was no room left at the yacht club marina unless we rafted
so we anchored below the bridge!
A walk around Kinsale and in the evening a superb
meal at Jola's Restaurant.
Back to Moonbeam and at 10pm it started raining for
the first time in a fortnight!
