Having enjoyed a few days in Almerimar, we have
gone a short distance up the coast to Roquetas de Mar. We intend to anchor here
tonight before heading to the next marina tomorrow. Although the sea looks
smooth, it is very rolly, but hopefully not too uncomfortable for the night. The
coastline is very attractive with mountains in the background and we are
anchored off a long beach.
The beach that Helen and Avril swam
to. The
marina entrance. They don't take boats our size.
Helen and Avril swam ashore, while Peter swam round
the boat! Although very warm, it is overcast here today and rain
threatening. Last night we had spectacular thunder and lightning, but no rain.
It is forecast to improve on Friday.
Low cloud over
the
mountains.
Still too warm for clothes though!
