We are back in business for the moment at least. After some stripping fiddling head scratching. Trying to have a nap but pondering the task at hand I managed to get her back into life!
So it would appear that one of the relays has given up the ghost in the control unit and this is likely causing the issue although of course you can aways start something another way working around the mechanics of the system!
It starts and stops on demand (with the application the correct screwdriver). The intention is to continue at this time as originally planned keeping an eye onit over the next couple of days before we turn west. IF there is another issue we can continue back to Cape Verde as our bail out plan.
We will of course keep you all updated. Although think we might have a beer to celebrate.
