Bright and sunny weather today.  The wind died away to very light airs just off Ardnamurchan light house at lunchtime, and since it was not far to go, motoring the last bit seemed pragmatic.  Currently in the Sound of Mull and have just been passed by a floating block of flats called ‘Mein Schiff Four’  (   56:32.43N 05:51.96W  ). 

 

In fact the name of the vessel above contained the numeral four, and not the spelled number, but I can’t write it down without mucking up the blog position recognition system.

 

Early this morning in the Sea of the Hebrides there were 7 vessels within 8 miles of us  -  a veritable morning rush hour  -  and huge contrast to the last 3 weeks.
