Welcome back,
Another day on the ocean. We have crossed over the 20 degrees longitude
line and have started to turn our course southwards, following the great circle
route. Today is also the first day that we have had winds forward of the beam.
Still not in completely the wrong direction, but starting to come round to where
we want to go.
The sun has also reappeared after its little holiday yesterday. The
temperatures are still cool out of its rays though.
Before we left I repaired the seals on the handles of the fore-cabin hatch,
which were previously leaking like a sieve. I am pleased to report that
having water over the deck means they have finally been tested and are working
admirably.
