Sun and warmth but sailing not plentiful

It has been a largely sunny, warm and dry day.
Light winds from the north north east have been the feature, currently too
light for progress. We’re lucky to have had some progress, sitting in an
area with no isobars and virtually no wind in yesterday’s forecast. This
forecast is for this area to remain much the same until the early hours of
Wednesday. I’m hoping that the latest forecast (about to download that
now) offers a better prospect.
John Boggis somehow manages a phlegmatic but positive response to this
situation in sailing, which I would like to emulate, but which I have always
struggled to copy.
Relatively little wildlife to provide a distraction, but I’m beginning to
see the fascination Sheila has with birds.
