Today has been much the same as usual. The sea is a bit confused again, and the wind has backed to almost easterly which combines to give us a fairly rocky/rolly ride. Averaging mid 7's which if we continue will get us into Cairns at about 0100hrs Tuesday - time for a celebratory drink and some sleep before facing the onslaught of quarantine and customs!
Had a stowaway onboard the other night in the form of a booby bird. Initially it tried to land on top of the mast and all it succeded in doing was to put the windex out of action. The sea is not kind enough for me to go up to the top of the mast to fix it, so it will most likely stay that way until Cairns. Eventaully the booby roosted on the back rail for the night and left us a huge mess to clean up in the morning.
