We have spent the day on final provisioning and preparations for the long sail ahead. The crew have planned 5 menus each, and I am looking forward to a gourmet cuisine each evening.

The winds look favourable over the next week or so, and we hope to cast off at dawn tomorrow.

The crew have been taking advantage of the supply of hot water and are all freshly showered for our last meal on terra firma. Once we set sail we only have the fresh water in the tanks, and we will have to conserve it. Showering, washing up and clothes washing will be with sea water!

We are all looking forward to setting sail and the challenges ahead.
