LAST DAY TODAY FOR THE WEBBSP8

Unbelievably we have reached our day of departure
from Aurelia and this magnificent adventure. when we can cope with
the emotional aspects we will write some reflective comments - It is not a good
look sitting in the marina office using their email connection with tears
streaming down my face!
Suffice to say that we are struggling to cope with
the logistics of leaving, ensuring that Hamish has all the information he needs,
last minute clean and repair jobs, the excitment of the trip home via Paris and
London, and the overiding sadness that threatens to overwhelm each of
us.
A great sail back yesterday - each of the kidshaving a final turn in the
boistterous conditions. Hamish highly amused by little Chrissie holding a
compass course in the swells - not many 6 year old kids can do that.
Hamish will take over the webdiary from here to NZ - we are looking forward
to reading the updates! |
