The weather cheered up in Marigot and we spent a pleasant day chilling out with some lunch at Doolittles and a bit of retail therapy in the marina village. Our friendly boat boy who paddles round on a surf board selling fruit while singing at top volume to his walkman made an appearance! We got a load of bananas, star fruit and coconut for a suitable amount of dosh, two walkman batteries and a beer! It's difficult to refuse such enterprise and there is of course the added entertainment value to consider!

Met up with Rory and Ursula off Cerys again - they were moored up in the inner harbour. Had a coffee and drinks later with them. Still quite a few ARC boats around.

Tuesday we had a leisurely start and a good sail up to Rodney Bay in glorious weather. We are in boat sorting mode today before we fly home tomorrow. We may get Ula lifted and antifouled as her bottom was rather messy when we got here and we had to have a diver down for a scrub off! Sounds painful! The captain is off talking to the boat yard manager at the moment negotiating the price..... Hopefully Kenny will have sorted our bimini tube and we have a dinghy repair to sort as well as the inevitable trip to Suds and the tortuous process of renewing our temporary import licence with Customs!

We enjoyed a warm evening yesterday with sundowners in the cockpit for the first time in a while -having got a load of tips/good recipe etc from the bar tender at the Tamarind Beach Hotel in Canouan, the skipper is now pretty adept at mixing a mean rum punch!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at home next few days- we have Andy's 20th and my Dad's 80th  to celebrate over the weekend - but not returning to the UK weather!

Due to return here Mar 15 to move Ula up to Antigua for the trip back across the puddle in May.
