Not much to report from Ula today. Our additional crew Andrew and Tom arrived around lunchtime and Libertad, along with their new crew member Nick, arrived later in the afternoon along with another boat, Nimue whose crew we had met up with in Baiona. We all seem to be heading in broadly the same direction. We got a much better impression of Povoa today and really quite like it here. It is very busy as the Portugese all seem to take their holidays in August. Andrew, John and I shopped in the local market and had a bit of a browse.

All the crews in the marina got together last night for a BBQ ashore - a truly international affair with English, Dutch, Swedish and German crews all socialising together.

It is a festival day here today and at midnight there was an impressive firework display which lasted for a good 20 minutes or more. Thankfully the fog siren appears to have calmed down.

Laura, Tom, Jake and Tim hit the town last night returning sometime in the early hours..... at time of blogging they are all just about surfacing complaining of hangovers! It seems to have been a good night!  Jake was apparently doing a 'Titanic' on the bow of Libertad when they all got back but is suffering from alcohol induced amnesia this morning! Tim is feeling 'delicate'. The rest of us had a 'nightcap' aboard with Paul and Nick.

Off to visit Porto on the Metro shortly. Tomorrow we shall be sailing again probably down to Nazare.
