Skipper here again. Yesterday was a wet and cloudy day but we managed to get some sailing in in the right direction. Slow at first as the seas were big and then more quickly as the seas became less rough. Everyone was pleased when I cancelled sundowners yesterday as drinking your glass of wine trying to keep your pringles dry is no fun. The night was cloudy and dark and the wind was up to 23 knots again but I choose the option of sailing slowly to give the off watch some rest and stop the boat crashing around. What we did see for the first time was a moon shining throught the dark clouds which gave us more light.

Everyone was pleased to see the dawn break clear and the sun was up and drying us all out. Trouble is we are back to light winds and are running under spinny to try to keep up a reasonable days run.

Could be the longest ARC ever at this rate.

However all is well ( except for Jackies Ipod) so we can't complain.

Cheers  John
