6.30am start to catch the tide after a peaceful night anchored in Studland watching a DVD of The Full Monty-we had forgotten how funny it was! A beautiful morning and fantastic weather - hottest day of the year with the crew in bikinis all day, apart from the skipper of course! No wind for quite a while so motored to about 5 miles West of Portland Bill when the wind filled in and we hoisted the sails. Great spinnaker sail all the way across Lyme Bay in to Brixham. When we went to hoist the mainsail, we found a racing pigeon taking a rest in the sail cover. He stayed with us, taking some water and catching up on a few zzz's before suddenly heading off in a Northerly direction about 6 miles from Brixham.

Judging by tonight's forecast we may have seen the last of the good weather for a while......

Signing off for now.. Jackie
