Your skipper has finally picked up the correspondent's pen. We left Sada Marina at 9.30am waited for Libertad to catch up after refuelling and then set off for Camarinas on the north of the Finisterre headland. No wind again and so a soggy motor along the coast with poor viz. Libertad, who had a tired crew, decided to pull into Camarinas in the evening but having received the forecast for the following day, blowing up again, we decided to carry on and get around the headland. We saw the Coast de Morte in the mist from 3 miles off and then it went dark. A bit of sailing was a welcome relief with the lights on the shore clear and bright. We were treated to a 15 minute firework display from somewhere. Sailing was slow but ok as I did not want to get to Baiona in the dark. The weather, however got worse, viz closed in and we were drenched by frequent "scotch mist". The crew ( who are now experienced night sailors) had to call the captain on deck at 2.30am when two ships on the port bow were manouvering to avoid each and one came straight for us. Too close for comfort but he spotted our flashlight shining on the sail and answered with a flash of his light to let us know he was avoiding us. The weather and viz got worse so we poodled along at  2.5 knots until it got light so we could see our way into Baiona. This is a lovely place but that's for normal correspondent to tel you about. Let's get south into better weather. John
