Good times pass too quickly, and boring times seem for ever. So it is with
Sarah. No sooner arrived (last Saturday), and it is a jog to the marina
office a week later for them to order a taxi for Sunday morning at 0730 to
take her to the airport. A whole week has passed so quickly that the only
response is to issue strict instructions to her that next time she should
not join Shelena for less than a month! At least the last evening was
memorable. The concert that we never heard previously was more cooperative
second time around. We walked to Cascais for the evening when the concert
was dedicated to theme music from films. It was good with Bond music, Abba,
Mission Impossible and so on. The music was embellished with visual cues in
the form of film extracts played on large screens. The evening rounded off
with fireworks that all seemed like it was planned to be that way for us. Of
course, I saw most of the display through my iphone determined to get at
least one picture that gives impact. A few hundred photos later and the only
couple worth showing are attached. Anyhow, all the rubbish shots can be
deleted, although who does that? Best left to somebody else, viewing years
later, asking why all these photos of some fireworks? Can I delete them? The
moment is just for the three of us who will remember. Bye for now from Sarah
who arrived home safely with flights all on time.
