Everything is just fine on Shelena. A surprising day in some ways. Dave was
eager to set the fishing line because he plans to sail the ARC next year
with wife Vicki and friends, and wants some fishing tips. So Dave had the
line out in the morning well aft to the third wave and an hour later the
real sends its familiar message that we have contact. 20 minutes later and
Shelena's second catch is alongside with gaff doing its job. Moments later
the wetted decks receive the 25 pond mahi-mahi. We went for immediate sushi
for pre-lunch. If only we were not a dry boat it would have been Chablis for
sure. It was a delicate delight that we all felt rather proud. We decided to
hasten evening dinner to lunch time in order to eat more of our catch when
it was at its freshest. So it was rice was cooked in the microwave together
with frozen peas. Some went for seconds too!

But the mahi-mahi catch was not the surprise. It really was that we have had
no technical problems at all today. Imagine that. No messages to Oyster for
assistance. We must be doing a few things right now.

Bye for now,
Phil
