Arrived Charleston  yesterday evening. This is our final destination for this season's cruising.

We are currently at anchor on the Ashley river. Close to a dinghy dock which is a short walk from the centre of town. We like Charleston so plan to spend about a week enjoying the city. Then it is a short trip up the Wando  river to the boatyard where we will spend our last few days here getting the boat ready for a lift out and store on the hard. We have booked a hotel and car for those days as I think we are getting too old for living on the boat while she is high and dry...? (Too far to the loos...☺).

All should be ready for us to fly back on the 26th June. Looking forward to seeing friends and family again and all the comforts of land living.
