Hi there,

We had a fairly pleasant sail up from Panama on Friday/Saturday, though the seas around Panama were a bit rough. They smoothed out once we were clear of the continental shelf.

San Andreas is the vacation spot for Columbians. We met up with the Rally crews for a beach get-together on Sunday. (Distracted by the Latino girls in dental floss bikinis). We then had a Welcome Party in the evening. This was hosted by the deputy minister for tourism and the Colombian coast guard. It seems that the Columbians are trying to get San Andrias and the nearby  island of Providencia on the cruising map. We were all presented with a Welcome Letter, vodka cocktails and a display of the local dancing. (Strangely formal and European).

We are having a chill day exploring the town and will hire a car or motor bike for an island tour tomorrow.

In a few days we are off again to Providencia for about a weeks stay there. We then need to psych ourselves up for several overnight sails round to Roatan and Belize.

Hope everyone is well.

Best Wishes,

J&G
