Final Rally Pics

16.30.00N 88.23.00W Well, we have now had the farewell party, the tour inland and the rally boats are all starting to disperse to various points of the compass. We will miss them all and hope to run across them in the future. Listed below are a few more pics, following on from the last set that ended with Panama City. Hope that you like them. From Panama, we sailed up to San Andreas and Providencia. Best Wishes, John & Georgina San Andreas and Providencia: Arrived first at San Andreas and then Providencia. At both islands we were treated to a welcome from the Colombian Ministry of Tourism. Along with the welcome speeches we were given a demonstration of local traditional dance. Providencia: Very formal traditional dance Bay Islands: The Honduran Bay Islands comprise of Guanaja, Roatan and Utila. Each has its own character and attractions. All are lovely with very friendly people. I think Guanaja was our favourite with its main town built on stilts and on every piece of available land on a small island inside the reef. A kind of “Venice” of the Caribbean.
Guanaja – “Venice” of the Caribbean….. Well, almost!! Belize: Finally, we have arrived in Belize and the end of a very enjoyable rally. The bitter/sweet reception and farewell party held in Placencia marina. Then the tours inland to see the Mayan ruins and the spectacular ATM caves.
