Everything Fine!
Coming to the end of our 10 day trip through the uninhabited and very peacefull Cuban Cays. We are stopping tonight near the town of Casilda, ready for the final hop to Cienfuego planned for tommorow. That will be where we return to "civilisation" and the start of our "Tourist" phase of enjoying Cuba. Looking forward to meeting Emma in Havana!

We had 2 "Rest and Maintenance" days in our previous anchorage. While there, we were visited by 3 fishermen in a small wooden boat. They held up two large lobster tails and shouted "Cambio". They wanted to exchange these for something. Fresh lobster sounded good, so I asked them what they wanted in return. "Tobacco" was the reply. I then remembered that I still had a couple of packets of Marlborough that I had bought in Gibraltar, for possible use as backsheesh when in Morocco. They were very glad to exchange the lobster for these as American cigarettes are a luxury here.

So we had lobster for dinner that night, fresh from the sea, basted in a mixture of orange and lemon juice, olive oil and paprika and lightly grilled. Even if I say so myself, it was the best lobster we ever had.... and bought for 2 packets of duty free fags!

We should arrive in Cienfuego late tomorrow, so may not be able to update this blog for a day or so. But we will then be close to a marina and hopefully have access to proper internet. We can then catch up on e-mail, etc

Best Wishes,
