Hi there. Hope everyone is well.
We sailed the 40 miles from Roatan to the sister
island of Utila yesterday. Weather forecast was for very light winds, so we were
a bit surprised when the wind hit a rather blustery 24 kts. Still, it made for a
fast sail. We have now rejoined most of the rally boats here, ready for a mass
check-out at Honduran immigration prior to the last few legs of the
rally.
We are all aiming to depart tomorrow evening and
sail the 75 miles to the barrier reef off Belize. We will stop overnight and
maybe next day at a coral island by the Ranguana Pass and then we head into
Placencia Marina for a stop ashore on the Belize mainland to do some
sightseeing. At least, that is the current plan.
I will try to update the blog when we get to
Ranguana.
