We met several people in this friendly little community of cruisers all busy getting their yachts sorted in one way or another.  Next to us was Blue Blaze, Jason and Laura.  We met Anne and Bob from Baloo, OCC members.  Also, Vim and Marjorie, and David next door to us.  David had berthed next to us while we were out for dinner.  Unfortunately, in the wind his bow clipped our topsides and caused a small defect in the wrap but he was honest enough to bring this to my attention as soon as he could.

There was a free bus in the morning from the marina to the local supermarket which a number of cruisers used and we joined.  The supermarket was also close to a Budget Marine which was very useful.

In the afternoon Simone, Peter, Nina and I set off into town to sort customs clearance and immigration.  What a mission!  We walked miles and both places were hard to find.  The staff were friendly and eventually everything got sorted.  At immigration we met Dirk and Tony, a German couple with a young baby, Mark.  Unfortunately they were selling their new and highly specified Lagoon 450 because cruising was just not working out with the baby.

On the way back we stopped for a few beers to cool down as it was incredibly hot! That evening, several cruisers went to the Tiki, a superb area in the marina where you could BBQ and drink in company.
