Today we have decided to go directly to Pago Pago. That is until the weather forecast changes again.

No wind at all for the last 18 hours. The engine is getting a pounding and it is extremely hot without a breeze. The shade is going up this morning. A boring 24 hours without doubt but at least we have had calm weather to catch up on some sleep.

I did however win at dominoes, which brightened the day up for me at least. Honour prevents me from naming the looser but it wasn’t me.

We caught a fish but I had set the drag so heavily that the line didn‘t pay out. Which means we didn’t hear it and we had been dragging the fish for unknown number of hours, days. It was about 3 feet long had sharp teeth and several something’s have had a bite, so not too sure what kind of fish it was. Better to check the line a bit more frequently I suppose.

No propagation on the SSB so no check in with the Coconut net. Therefore no idea what kind of weather everyone else in the nearest 1,000 miles are experiencing.
