After checking 4 forecasts and none of them
agreeing we decided to go with the most optimistic and as usual made a spur of
the moment decision to leave. We had already checked out of the country last
Wednesday and the Harbour Captain had been round in the morning asking us if we
ever intended leaving. Anyway we are underway now with no farewell leaving
party!!
We left 16:00 on the 24th
Slight winds during the day but motoring during the
night which isn't good. Fishing line has been in the water for 36 hours without
a nibble, not sure what they eat over this side of the planet. not to worry only
48 days to go at this speed!!
Wifie and I are being exceptionally nice to each
other with the knowledge that it could be a very long trip and a very very long
swim.
