Quite good sailing but once again very boring. The jib poled out still, winds 10 to 20knts not too many squalls but the seas are still large. Finally have the fishing line out, 2 strikes within about 15 minutes. The first one got off and the second took the lure and ...... Would you believe it, just as I was writing this the line started pulling out with une fish.
Reef in the jib completely, engine on and into the waves to stop forward movement of the boatie. 20 minutes later we have a Mahi Mahi onboard. Quite some struggle. Measurement from nose to tail is 1/2" shorter than Noi which is small for a people and large for a fish. I guess we will be eating Mahi for the next month. If we are allowed into the various countries with fish in the freezer. A very good start to the day.
