Title: 9:54.44s 139:06.32w

Left Fatu Hiva at 07:30. Winds were strong, 20knts + and the seas fairly rough all the way to Hiva Oa. As we arrived at the harbour we tried calling a couple of boats we knew to see how busy it was. A different boat, who we had come across in FH answered the call and said it was as tight as a tourniquet and boats having to anchor in the no go area where the supply boats come in. We don’t need town that much so divert to and Island called Tahuata. Anchor down in about the best bay, Hanamoenoa, we have come across by 16:00. A great day sailing and one of the best anchorages on the planet, a good day but still got hammered at Gammon! We will probably stay here a couple of days then down a couple of bays to the local village then on to the Tomato’s.
