397 miles to go - Less than 500 and less than 400 that has got to call for a couple of cold ones.

The last 24 ducking and diving again. >From 2300 GMT today we have got the spinnaker up again. With no pole so not much control but at least we are going the right way again.

About 3 and a half days to Hiva Oa which is a problem because it will have us arriving at night. May have to slow down when we are nearer. Still not sure if we will go to Hiva Oa or Fatu Hiva first, probably decide on the day.

Slight damage to the spinnaker, 3 tears in the jib, the pole to try and fix and now we have a problem with the furling universal joint on the main sail so quite a bit of work to do in the Marquesas
