The champers is in the fridge ready for the equator crossing and the offering to Neptune. I never was too sure what the idea was behind the dressing up and dunking that was performed on crossings. Something to do with sacrifice perhaps?
We have nothing to offer other than a fairly old and slightly used Thai. I wonder how Neptune would react to having Noi land on his doorstep. He would certainly be told how to organise his oceans a bit better, make Thailand closer to everything for instance! Wind from 20 to 25 knots, waves less than a meter and a port broad reach always, which is suitable for cooking. That is what I am always told to organise anyway.
