Nothing much happened, 3 to 4 knts average during the night with the spinnaker up.
06:00 the wind came up fairly quickly and has been blowing 15 to 20 ever since and we are now averaging 8 knts.

The new Parasail spinnaker is astounding, easy to handle and has us doing nearly 9 knts in 18 knts of wind. We have had up to 23knts today and we are sitting in the dog house watching it perform. It has been up for 24 hours now and see no reason to take it down. It was an astounding price as well mind you.

Spoke to Tigre last night and they have been met in the Galapagos by seals. They arrived this morning at 08:00. Also spoke to Qwyer this morning and they are 250 miles ahead of us and 250 miles from Galapagos. We have closed the gap with them by about 18 hours.

Nothing much else to say, dolphins off and on all the way so far but these ones keep their distance and seem much smaller. Quite a large variety in types as far as I can make out. They certainly don’t seem to be in short supply despite the appetite and fishing habits of the Japanese.
