We left Savu Savu yesterday at 14:30 after filling up with water and washing and packing the dinghy. A fast motor sail to the anchorage so that we would go through the pass in daylight. We just managed it and set the anchor at 18:30. We will be off as soon as I can download the weather from the steam driven radio which takes about an hour to download a kb. Hopefully we will leave by 08:00 and travel most of this morning inside the reef, go out the northern pass this afternoon then an open passage to New Caledonia. We may stop for a day or two in Vanuatu depending on the weather.
