Two days in a row heading for the same destination, must count as a decision.

The engine was on for 22 hours and 17 minutes. The wind finally came up enough to move with full main and jib poled out. No waves or swell due to the lac of wind for the last 24 hours so we landed up having a fantastic sail during the day, dominoes and V&T for sundowners and caught a Mahi Mahi just before dark. A great day.

The night wasn't so good though, the swell had started building and the wind died which left us wallowing and the sails snapping. very uncomfortable with a couple of sail changes during the night yet again. We had a visit by the Cook Island Police at 03:00 which was a bit worrying, firstly when you tend to think it is a ship about to run you over and then when they do make contact there is no way of verifying that they are who they say they are. Anyway they were extremely polite and efficient and after giving them our life history and future plans and vital statistics and reason for being they were on their way.

The wind started again this morning 06:30 so up goes the poled out jib once again.
