Sometimes you find perfect places, and then wonder why you don't just stay there.

We had a brilliant day on Cow Wreck beach. The taxi ride across the island would dislodge any kidney stone. The drivers are well used to braking for cows, donkeys and lizards on the road. Then you arrive at the most perfect beach, with miles and miles of white sand and turquoise blue water, protected from surrounding swell by the reef. The beach bar serves great food and has an honesty tab for when the ladies are busy in the kitchen - so no need for Tom to panic. We had such a great day that we did the same again yesterday!

This morning the anchor was prised off the sandy bottom and we had a surprisingly enjoyable sail downwind back to Nanny Cay, only 20 odd miles. Three days remain to clean up the boat ready to abandon her for the summer. The Caribbean takes a lot of beating.
