We have had a week of blustery winds, sun and rain. Happiness that we are in the idyllic Freemans Bay, bobbing around at anchor whilst Tom orders expensive WIND generators from the UK. Not a man who normally supports "go green" we both feel defeated by the Fischer Panda and are reluctant to throw any more boat units at it. ( 1 boat unit=$1000 in Pelekan speak.) The water maker is almost as much trouble so that will be the next expense.......

Tom is rum bosun for the Tot club this week. This involves arriving at different venues well before 6.0pm, taking money, filling glasses, delivering the naval history of the day and toasting the Queen. It appears also to require pre and post tot drinks so we weave our way back to the boat in total darkness, hoping not to career into any buoys or other boats on the way.

The Christmas spirit is hard to achieve here, though we did hear a carol yesterday. The best has been video clips of our gorgeous granddaughter who clearly loves their Christmas tree so much she would like to take it to bed with her.

Both looking forward to Christmas with the family.
Seasons greetings.
