20:08.56N 65:34.11W  We left Nanny Cay at 2pm on Saturday, a flat calm day.  we were waved off by the Whitmeys in a huge power boat (2 days drive to the Chesapeake!!) and settled down to a typical 'no food' first day.  the evening calm was punctured by a near unbroken line of lightening storms coming towards us, a few chicanes and we missed the worst although winds leapt from 5kt to 35kt.  Breakfast today was popular with settled stomachs.  we are 120NM from Nanny Cay as the crow flies and have 1140NM to the Chesapeake bay bridge/tunnel complex.  weather set to stay very quiet for the next few days.
