I should not have mentioned that the boat is behaving. Tom and I left Spanish Town this morning and sailed( or rather tacked) to Anegada. We have been here several times before but it never loses its magic. The island is almost flat. About the highest thing is a palm tree. In addition there is a surrounding reef and the water is turquoise blue.

After the 4 hour sail we found the perfect spot to drop anchor- and the anchor would not budge. The air, in addition to the water, was blue. In the end he gave up and, thankfully, we picked up a buoy so are now safely stationary.

We are looking forward to a fish supper ashore and, tomorrow, a walk to try and see the flamingoes, then the beach.

I know it will be hard to leave in a couple of days time. Jos
