Thurday 24th May was a rest day. John and Claire went a long walk along the nature trail to Haverfordwest, just catching the last bus back at 6.30pm.....no late night partying in this part of the world. I arranged for the nav lights to be fixed and did some jobs on the boat. Neyland is a beautifu lspot with very helpful staff, and glorious weather as well.

Friday was sunny and windy, and so we had a good sail out in the Milford waterway, enjoying the weather and scenery. We could not leave for Falmouth because the forecast strong easterlies had arrived down there, and it would not be the weather for rounding Lands End. However, we could see that the winds were forecast to drop late on Saturday evening, and so decided to leave for Falmouth mid afternoon on Saturday. John had to return home for work ( and to watch the Monaco GP), and my old sailing friend Berwin came down to join us for the trip to Falmouth.

The pics show the scenery around Neyland...well worth a visit.
